January Wrapped — 2024
Happy February!!! I am in love with 2024 so far. The people I’m spending time with, trips being planned, work I’m doing, people I’m collaborating with. I look back on journal notes I put out in 2018 and 2019 and I am living and breathing the life I set out to build, while having as much fun as humanly possible.
Started off the year in Indy at my employee’s wedding. I had some credit card points so upgraded to a swanky hotel which felt like the perfect way to start the year.
I spent a good chunk of time packing and thinking about packing for our extended winter trip in 10 days. Upgraded our luggage because I wanted cohesion. I’m so annoying.
We went to Vegas and went to Delilah, Sparrow & Wolf and Vanderpump for cocktails in Caesars Palace. Highly recommend all three!!! It was the perfect way to meet my new head of marketing and catch up with my stellar head of sales at the Creator Economy Live event! Added my favorites inside OOO.
Flourish is going to be on September 24 at The Tea Room. Y’all. I loved Willow on Grand but we packed the house to get more visibility and $$ to finalists. Save the date!
We hired six people. I usually announce who they are on my LinkedIn.
I was nominated for entrepreneur of the year & rising star at FuseDSM and it was/is truly an honor. Thank you to whoever nominated me! 🙏
My HigherDose items arrive tomorrow and I am giddy about what I’m about to do with my red light sack and PEMF mat. 😮💨
Our old bed officially fell apart so I ordered this one. I really wanted one from Article but it was on backorder and it was getting mission critical to replace.
I met the founder of Swair on a Zoom and she sent me her stuff. Can’t wait to try after a quick, sweaty Peloton ride.
Penelope got her third haircut ever. It’s adorable.
I had a lot of fun creating Reels this month.
Here’s a recipe I’m making twice in one week because it was that good.
Got these cups and these ones for Christmas and it’s safe to say I’m a huge fan.
I’ve been living in these and these jeans since it’s too cold for my favorite clothing item: dresses. I think the kick out crops are my fav, I want them in a different wash but will probably wait until I get back from Central America.
Polished Prints gifted me a couple mom crops and they’re legit the best tees ever. I already was a buyer now I am committed to getting every color.
My cat has asthma and I’m learning to support him differently. I had no idea cats could get this sooooo yeah. 😵💫
Restocked some makeup essentials like this and this and this.
My family was sick what felt like half the month. I love Dogpatch’s elderberry for this.
Magnatiles are giving us life lately.
Lincoln wore this snowsuit and it’s honestly perfect.
We booked our San Diego trip for June and are watching flights to Florence for summer as well. Two weddings. Yay!
I’m eyeing this Cuyana bag.
I pulled out my microphone 🎙️ recently… wanted to see how my body would respond as I think about igniting the podcast again.
The Coconut Cult is worth the hype. I hate when I find and love superior products. 🤑
I read this book and this one.
We hit our sales number goal and as a venture backed business we don’t set steady growth goals, we set BHAGs so hitting it means we are truly crushing. Can’t wait to share what iconic CPG brand is driving local sales with us in Feb 🤐
Added this to my monthly subscription from Ritual. After doing some gut health tests my body needed a looooot of extra support so this and a crap ton of fruit / veggie variety will hopefully help get some balance.
This heart-centered founder sold her business and it’s inspiring to hear her story! Yeah Jessica!
We broke down and got the Taking Cara Babies course. She is a GD hero. It’s because of that course that I’m sitting here in my tub writing this. Because my son sleeps quickly and predictably. 😭
I spent a couple hours adding fresh/more soil to my plants and also adding some fertilizer. New leaves are already coming. Excuse me as I beam with pride.
Been regularly back on the desk tread. I really like it! I don’t have any comparisons though.
Annnnd I think that’s a wrap! Bye!
