HAPPY BIRTHDAY DAD I LOVE YOU!!!!!

1. This is your reminder to book a dermatologist appt. Got a few stitches this week maybe I could have avoided if I was more consistent at a younger age. Ps I almost always get asked where I go. I have felt super supported by Karen at RC Dermatology in Ankeny off Oralabor. 

2. My summer “get out of the house” essentials include: my Owala (and Penelope’s) water bottle, my fav fanny pack (Marne stocks the best Baggu items), this sunscreen, hydration powder, shades, and Stasher bags with snacks.

3. The verdict is in: still very obsessed with Crown Affair a year after initially trying. I especially love the shampoo, conditioner, scalp serum (fab during winter) and hair oil. I got the renewal mask, scalp scrub and leave-in conditioner but never got them again. I am hoping to snag the air dry hair mousse and hair towel down the road.

4. Set my quarterly goals first of July and it feels so GOOD. Once I brought on my cofounder Charise at Hummingbirds she deeply introduced me OKRs (objectives and key results) and the template I use from Jules Acree “design your year” uses something super similar. Set the goal, then map out supporting actions on a monthly basis.

5. Heading to Rendezvous on Riverview, the farmers market, 8035 and my usual dance class this weekend. Grateful for so many fun things to do in the 515.
